I like big, wild hair! I kind of collect these styles in SL. They’re so fun! I’ve been waiting to make a look with this Illmatic hair since purchasing it at a past SLFW a few months ago. I decided to take this look the way of street casual. Comfy with some accessories to take it to the next level. And I love mono-colored shoes. They look so fresh in red! xo, Abra
So, when I get the itch to create a look, I do not rush out to get a new item from a store. I used to. But this is not my first rodeo, and babies, my inventory is fashion gold. These days, I enjoy turning to old favorites (Kookie, Shade Throne, Kin, etc.) for inspiration. Is this SL’s equivalent to vintage? Hmmm…probably? ;-)
Of course, hot new items totally get me excited as well. Take these Villena leggings. They are totally hot! Although there are 20+ designs, I loved these head-and-shoulders above the rest. The way the leather wraps around the thigh is super flattering and sexy - while being subtle about it.
Another fall uniform? You bet. xo, Abra
Why, hello there. ;-) I had to take a short break from SL, and I missed you! RL was hectic in October, the good kind of hectic. I feel like I may have missed out on some amazing Halloweenie items, but such is life. Today I bring you a favorite fall look: 1 part edgy + 1 part comfy = fall uniform. I love color, but only a splash for this sip of style.
I’m wearing Birdy’s Imogen Skin from The Chapter Four. Isn’t it gorgeous?! I’m a fan of most skins, which can sometimes make it hard to decide whether or not I want the skin for me, or if it’s “me.” (Gosh, did I just say that? Eww. Ha!) Well, anyway, some skins are flat-out gorgeous and totally, 100% me. Imogen is thoroughly and completely that. I <3 it. Go get one for yourself! xo, Abra
Okay, it’s truly fall. I’m into it now. The nice thing about fall is that it’s a bit fancier than summer. I feel like being a lady today with my Vive Nine poof skirt from C88 August & my Milk Motion veiled beanie from C88 September. I’ve finished the look with a few more C88 items from August & September. Nothing like a few great basics! My skin is Birdy’s Devon from October’s The Chapter Four. You can get her in the gatcha machine, collect all 12! xo, Abra

Back from a busy week of RL and sad to say that summer is *poof* gone! Well, shoot. I’m not done with the warm weather or the sun! This look is in rebellion of the coming cold. Some fun colors, with just enough warmth to make it wearable. I’ll soon get these Beetle Bones DU5 boots out of my system, but not just yet. And this Emery dress from C88 August is so simple & sensual. I love a piece you can take any which-way. Enjoy and bundle up! xo, Abra
Still loving up Designers United 5 items. This time it’s The Secret Store dress. I’m sure you can see it’s stunning, however what you cannot see is that the clouds clouds on the dress…move! That’s right, they move. It’s soo cool. (It also is a wonder then, why there aren’t more clothing items scripted for visual effect out there. An event host’s nightmare, a fashionista’s dream.) I was so cold irl (fall is truly here irl *sad faise*) that I had to “autumn-it-up” with Tee*fy’s fur coat and Beetle Bones’ tall boots. Former from C88 August, latter from DU5. Truly loving the layers here, and the uptown/downtown vibe. Mix it up! xo, Abra

I’m loving this Alchemy skin “Vamp,” available at the We <3 Role-Play event. It’s a fantasy skin, and I had planned a fantasy look to go along with it, but as I slipped it on I noticed it was really sophisticated and so I decided to take the look this way. One of my fashion “rules” is that there are no limits to style. If you like it, and you can afford it, get it and wear it “your way!” ;) Dani, the creator of Alchemy, also designs skins for her Birdy line. As I’m sure you’ve noticed, I am a big fan of her brand. Her skins are creamy, beautifully done and have interesting faces. They also come with multiple brow options, Slink and Lola appliers and (some come with) different “finishes” such as dewy, sun, matte, etc. Love up this skin! xo, Abra
One of my favorite events from years past, Designers United (5!!!), is here! I’m super excited about the event. Surrealism is the theme, and the items available are all really creative and cool. Cheers to Lu, Nil & Puma for working HARD to make this event happen. If only we should be so lucky to catch another DU in the future. xo, Abra
Outfit details, below.
Close up time. :) I wanted to get a close up of Birdy’s Ingrid skin. She’s so pretty. It’s at The Chapter Four right now, with 6 makeups to choose from. xo, Abra

Feeling playful. I like this outfit! To me it shouts, “FUN DAY!” I love this Toro Sailor Top, you can get one at The Chapter Four this month. Also pulled out my vintage Tram leggings. It’s hard to do spot-on glitter in SL (just with graphics in general) and these just take the cake in my book. Oh, and my Milk Motion shoes and love.me Oreo headband. I am in fun day heaven. xx, Abra
Camel…such a luxe- and yet unoffensive- color. It’s so classically classy… This was unintentional, but I’m feeling a bit Margot Tenenbaum-ish today. Maybe it’s the fur coat, black eyeliner, cigarette. Really loved that character of hers. C88 last month was smashing and I suppose I’ll be posting more looks in the future with key pieces from the collection. xo, Abra

I love basics, I really do. But…they have to have a twist to them. This is my ode to a favorite “uniform” - a fun sweater, interesting pants, and sneakers. I never tire of this combination.
I don’t change my skin very often, but I absolutely love the new Birdy ‘Ingrid.’ You can get her at The Chapter Four this month. <3 Abra
Have this posh feeling going on. But it can’t be stuffy! It has to have a relaxed, cool, downtown vibe to it, to balance out all the delicate, feminine pieces. Here’s my take on it. Milk Motion's (July) C88 pants & Beusy's SLFW sweater are the foundation. xx, Abra
Some of my favorite outfits have been built on a foundation of great basics. Take this look for example: It all started with this Mon Cherie dress I found at The Black Fair. The shape is simple & classic, and can be taken in so many directions. I chose this classic, summery stripe print because I love the colors and varying stripe widths. And from there, I built upon this look with more of my favorite things (old & new). If you’re ever in need of a starting place, find a good basic that is interesting to you, and build from there. It’s a no-fail approach to dressing. ;) xo, Abra

I just love this *ionic* top from The Black Fair. It’s simple with some great details: hardware on the collar, asymmetrical hem, contrast piping and a pretty graphical-yet-soft print. I built my outfit around this top, and happy as a clam how it turned out. Monochromatic, casual heaven. <3 xo, Abra
